Don Pasquale: Opéra National de Paris
Paris, Palais Garnier — Main Hall
About the Event
Do not miss the first performance of Donizetti's Don Pasquale at the Opéra de Paris in a production by Italian director Damiano Michieletto and under the musical direction of Speranza Scappucci.
Both light‑hearted and dramatic, Don Pasquale is the apotheosis of opera buffa. Set in 19th‐century Rome, the opera tells the story of a rich bachelor who desires to marry but is deceived by his nephew and his young bride‐to‐be.
