About the Event

Offenbach’s final opera depicts the story of poet Hoffmann’s life and his unluckiness in love for three women – Olympia, Antonia and Giulietta. Or could it be one woman after all?

French director Laurent Pelly brings this production for the first time to Berlin. It is set against mesmerizing backdrops and chorus formations. A stunning performance that will not leave you disappointed.
