A singer and drummer, a clarinettist and a pianist. All three love American swing from the thirties, all three are virtuosos on their instruments. With its new programme 'We Got Rhythm', the DAVID HERMLIN TRIO recalls the great combo formations of the swing era, above all, of course, the revolutionary Benny Goodman Trio with pianist Teddy Wilson and drummer Gene Krupa. The musicians around DAVID HERMLIN refrain from any attempt to copy their idols, but develop their own lively style. They play music, sing and even dance.
David Hermlin's sister RACHEL HERMLIN, who — like her brother — is the star of the 'Swing Dance Orchestra' led by her father ANDREJ HERMLIN, is also a guest.
