About the Event
In order to express our appreciation for the lifelong friendships that have developed through our collaborations with Czech and international performers, we have decided to organize a special concert titled 'The Jan Hasenöhrl & Friends Concert' for our supporters. Taking place in the iconic Smetana Hall of the Municipal House, this event will offer our audience members the opportunity to experience the magic of music, which has the ability to bring people together.
Jan Hasenöhr, the host of the concert, eagerly anticipates this event as it will provide him with the chance to reunite with many of his old friends who will be performing on stage. Having spent four and a half decades in the industry, Jan has had the pleasure of working with numerous individuals, particularly during the three decades of the Czech National Symphony Orchestra's existence. This concert serves as a reflection on the years gone by and the remarkable people Jan has had the privilege to meet and collaborate with. The audience can expect a diverse repertoire that includes baroque and classical music, as well as captivating pieces by Ennio Morricone and Vladimir Cosma. Furthermore, the presence of Lalo Schifrin, renowned jazz musician and composer of the iconic 'Mission Impossible' theme, will allow the audience to immerse themselves in the world of jazz. The compositions of Bobby Shew, Randy Brecker, and Vince Mendoza will also be showcased — pieces that evoke memories of unforgettable projects Jan participated in.
