About the Event

The Wiener Mozart Orchester performs with internationally renowned singers and soloists in Vienna's world‐famous music venue, the Musikverein, and carries the audience away into a glorious past.

As the name Vienna Mozart Orchestra implies, the 30 musicians of this ensemble have devoted themselves to the work of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the most accomplished representative of the period who, although born in Salzburg, found his home in Vienna. The Vienna Mozart Orchestra plays in magnificent historical costumes and wigs to create a special atmosphere.

In keeping with the tradition of the 'musical academies', as Vienna concerts were known in Mozart's time, the audience enjoys single movements from symphonies and solo concertos, as well as operatic overtures, arias and duets from especially popular and well known works.

ISIC‐card holders must present the plastic card when collecting tickets at the box office. If no ISIC‐card is presented, the difference to full ticket price will have to be paid on the spot. A refund will not be granted.

the performance, the atmosphere are great. the program sold before the concert is disappointing with many missing information but with advertising. so mainly useless.

muziek ok, maar heel veel afleiding, telefoons, fotografen en iemand had zelfs haar hond mee!!! Kwam twee nummers te laat en ging toen tijdens het spelen nog selfies maken. Beetje meer handhaving???

Excellent musical precision and nuance would have made Mozart proud. The first oboe and flutes were amazing. The staff were all friendly and helpful and tolerant. The chocolate at the exit was a lovely and generous touch as was the extra numbers played by the orchestra at the end. The soprano was a superb singer.

Superior. Concert hall is fantastic and sounds became very mild compared with any cocert halls. In addition to Mozart's best selection, Johan Shutrraus's 2 songs were faschinated to me.
