About the Event

The promotion of young musicians is a special concern of the Brandenburg Summer Concerts. It is our program not to stick only to the elites from the metropolis. Thus, at the Young Artists Concert in the stimulating industrial culture ambience of the old Kaisers coffee central warehouse in Spandau, which now houses the piano collection of the Berlin Carl Bechstein Piano Foundation, we mix highly talented young pianists from the Mark and the metropolis. Brandenburg contributes two freshly crowned prize winners of the national competition 'Jugend Musiziert', Berlin is represented by the two scholarship holders of the Carl‐Bechstein‐Foundation Adèle‐Marie Schäfer and Vincent Heeren. Once again, the afternoon will be expertly and skillfully guided by Tagesspiegel cultural editor Frederik Hanssen. Experience the stars of tomorrow full of virtuosity, passion and skill — a concert that will amaze!
