Toni Mörwald, born in 1967, grew up in his parents' inn in Feuersbrunn am Wagram. After training at the tourism school in St. Pölten and at the hotel management school in Krems, he honed his skills with renowned chefs, including in France, Monaco, Italy and the USA.
In 1989, he took over his parents' inn — and his unprecedented success story began. Just one year later, at the age of 22, Mörwald was awarded his first Gault&Millau toque, making him the youngest toque‐awarded chef in Austria.
