About the Event
Piano after Dark – an exquisite late‐night piano concert in the crypt of St. Peter’s Church in Vienna: Italian pianist Mario Eritreo is one of Europe’s most sought‐after artists. In 2016, he performed the complete cycle of J.S. Bach’s six organ sonatas at St. Peter’s Church in Vienna—a feat achieved by only three other artists to date. He collaborates with Europe’s most renowned orchestras and is particularly known for his keen sensitivity to the nuances of the compositions.
A master of his craft who is just as at home in large concert halls as he is in the intimate setting of the crypt concerts.
The crypt maintains a pleasant temperature year‐round.
