Let yourself be swept away by Amazing Grace and Joshua Fit The Battle of Jericho at Gospel Night in Vienna's St. Stephen’s Cathedral, groove to modern classics like Kirk Franklin’s “I Smile,” and celebrate the global hit “Oh Happy Day.” The Sing mit! Gospel Choir and gospel icon Kim Cooper, together with a jazz ensemble, invite you on a journey through the breathtaking world of spirituals, gospel, and traditional songs.

“Clap your hands…,” “stomp your feet…,” “sing Hallelujah…,” the audience will be urged to join in and be part of the experience. The gospel and spiritual songs—partly melancholic, partly rousing and spirited—“get under your skin” like hardly any other music. Kim Cooper radiates so much emotion, spirit, and joy that she consistently manages to get the audience out of their seats.

Under the direction of Kim Cooper, the songs are intensively rehearsed by the singers of the “Sing mit!” Gospel Choir in several workshops—creating a rousing concert experience for everyone.
