About the Event
A first‐class opera concert featuring arias and duets from “Otello,” “Aida,” “La forza del destino,” “Zar und Zimmermann,” “Pique Dame,” “Arabella,” and “Don Giovanni.”
Special guest KS Morten Frank Larsen, otherwise at home at venues such as the Vienna State Opera, Metropolitan Opera, Vienna Volksoper, and others, can be experienced from his very personal side in the crypt of St. Peter's Church. A great pleasure for opera connoisseurs and those who want to become one.
In Katharina Jing An Gebauer, otherwise celebrated for her Marschallin (Der Rosenkavalier) or Tosca (title role), he finds a stage partner on equal footing. As a special treat, she reads appropriately from her book “Kathi's Opera Guide” between the arias and duets. A wink is welcome!
The outstanding Wolfgang Fritzsche guarantees congenial accompaniment on the piano.
The concert hall is pleasantly temperate in every season.
