Interpreti Veneziani: The Four Seasons in Venice
Venice, Palazzo Zaguri
About the Event
In the heart of Venice, Palazzo Zaguri offers an atmospheric setting for an evening of music with Interpreti Veneziani: The Four Seasons in Venice. Housed in a magnificent Gothic palace near St. Mark’s Square, the venue adds historic grandeur to Antonio Vivaldi’s vivid musical portraits of spring, summer, autumn, and winter. The renowned Venetian ensemble brings energy, precision, and dramatic color to The Four Seasons, allowing listeners to hear birdsong, thunderstorms, harvest celebrations, and icy landscapes emerge through brilliant strings and expressive solo passages. Alongside Vivaldi’s celebrated cycle, the program includes other works by the composer, creating a richly varied journey through the Baroque sound world.
