About the Event
'Anna Karenina' is a story full of temptation, passion and moral conflicts, a turbulent tale of betrayal, dreams chased and lost and the consequences of being swept off your feet by love.
Tolstoy's great prose masterpiece surpasses the Western literary canon as one of the most captivating works of fiction ever written. Marina Kesler adapted this demanding novel as a ballet and gave the heroine of the piece a voice through the powerful music of Shostakovich.
