Marie Jacquot, a gifted Frenchwoman, once immersed herself in the world of tennis and even competed at the renowned French Open. However, a new calling emerged in her life, as she found herself drawn towards the enchanting allure of music. Simultaneously playing the trombone and pursuing her musical aspirations, Jacquot ultimately made the transformative decision to embrace her true vocation — conducting. Having trained under Kirill Petrenko and now serving as the Principal Guest Conductor of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, Jacquot's outstanding talent and passion for music have propelled her to remarkable heights.
