A marvelous journey through the sacred and profane music of Vivaldi, in all the forms expressed by the Red Priest in his musical production, from the concerto in G minor to that in B minor for four violins and bc, to the beautiful introduction to the Miserere and the evocative cantata “Cessate, omai cessate” for the deep contralto voice, strings and bc, ending with Follia, the most famous musical form of the time, in which the greatest composers such as Corelli, Geminiani, Scarlatti, Handel and Bach tried their hand.
