Sunday Concerts at Conway Hall: Amatis Piano Trio
About the Event
Established in Amsterdam in 2014 and now headquartered in Salzburg, the trio quickly gained recognition as BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artists and Echo Rising Stars. Their upcoming performance at Conway Hall will feature a 'classic' lineup, showcasing works by Beethoven, Haydn, and Mendelssohn, along with a beautiful arrangement of Franz Liszt’s La Vallée d’Obermann from Années de pèlerinage.
Prior to the main concert, pianist Louis‐Viktor Bak will present a pre‐concert recital featuring pieces by Debussy and Chaminade. The Amatis Trio has been praised for their masterful combination of youthful energy and sophisticated artistry, displaying a wide range of dynamics and thoughtful interpretations.
