A cycle of concerts exploring the dialogues and the boundaries between music and film: their harmony, their bond, but also the mutual borrowing that enriches them both.

Creating a new dialogue between the sonic and the visual in film, Philippe Truffault responds in images to Stéphan Oliva's musical variations. He appropriates certain sequences from films, revisits them, improvises on them. Going beyond dramatic conventions, Oliva's music takes us straight to the heart of the mixed‐up, forsaken heroes of film noir.
