About the Event
Saxophonist Julien Lourau returns to the stage with his new group, "The Groove Retrievers", an ecclectic ensemble that draws inspiration from shores as distant as Latin American, North Africa, and the Caribbean.
The other group on the program, Snarky Puppy, goes well beyond the borders of jazz, with a style that moves among funk, soul, pop, electronoc music, hip‐hop, and world music.
