Schubert, Britten, Rachmaninov: Masterworks Series

About the Event

Collin Carr (cello) and Thomas Sauer (piano) present a program of sonatas by Schubert, Britten and Rachmaninov and Harold Meltzer's world premiere comissioned by Bargemusic titled 'Casa Battlót'.

The Masterworks Series at Bargemusic presents some of the best loved compositions of the chamber music repertoire, performed by excellent artists and ensembles.

Bargemusic presents chamber music in an unlikely and startlingly beautiful venue—a floating barge at the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge. Both established and emerging musicians perform at Bargemusic on a small stage with the dramatic backdrop of the East River and lower Manhattan skyline.
