About the Event

The Ricercar Consort performs with soloists at the concert series "Pocket Baroque". Works by Jean‐Baptiste Lully, Michel Lambert, François Couperin, Marin Marais, Jean‐Philippe Rameau, and Jean‐Fery Rebel will be on the programme.

Pocket Baroque — but seriously big performances! While this is an intimate series, it can draw on the incantatory power of Amandine Beyer's celebrated Bach solos and of the associate conductors of Les Arts Florissants. Intimacy will be the watchword of Belgian soprano Céline Scheen's presentation of French airs de cour and of Florence Malgoire and Les Dominos, who will pay a tribute to one of the few female composers of the Baroque age.
