Katrin Targo and Ekaterina Nokkert devote themselves to exquisite songs by Richard Strauss and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky with great emotional tension.
A highlight of the evening is the moving letter scene from Tchaikovsky's “Eugene Onegin” – a musical confession between hope, longing, and despair. Complemented by Strauss' colorful soundscapes, an intense dialogue emerges between voice and piano, between lyricism and passion.
