Sergei Prokofievs 'Peter und der Wolf' (Peter and the Wolf) is a musical fairy tale for children 5 years and older.

For decades, 'Peter and the Wolf' has been among the most popular compositions for children. It was created to introduce the musical instruments of a symphony orchestra to children. The piece tells the story of Peter, who has to defeat an evil wolf. 

At the Musikalische Komödie Leipzig, Prokofievs work will be performed in this season for children and adults alike.
