About the Event

Every year at the end of summer, the world's largest early music festival, Oude Muziek, takes place in the ancient Dutch city of Utrecht. The 2018 edition was dedicated to the polyphonic master Josquin des Prez. The most festive concert was placed in the local St. Martin of Tours Cathedral. The Portuguese Officium Ensemble with the charismatic choirmaster Pedro Teixeira were then called upon as performers. We couldn't resist! The beautiful colour of full voices. And for Prague, they're preparing Palestrina's famous Missa Papæ Marcelli, adorned with their native compositores.
