About the Event

During Les Nuits d’Orient (Dijon’s Arabian Nights Festival), Dijon Opera presents a concert by Kamilya Jubran et Sarah Murcia.

The two artists have worked together for over ten years. This mutually enriching partnership is based on the classical arabic music of Kamilya Jubran, who sings and plays the oud, and its stimulating encouter with the music of Sarah Murcia, whose creative roots are to be found in jazz and contemporary music. 

Both artists, with their accompanying musicians, capture the essence of the other’s music finding a new a deeply musical form of expression.
