About the Event
Music plays a central role in shamanic rituals as a means of connecting the shaman and the spirits. Specialists of traditional instruments team up with musicians from the Musiques Nouvelles ensemble to create an unprecedented sound/ritual. Using the power of sound and rhythm, they will take you on a journey to life’s deepest core, a world where forces of nature, animal spirits and the souls of the deceased come together.

the music was recorded and immediately transmitted throughout the church. It was like listening to a CD instead of a live orchestra. There were also some technical glitches creating a lot of noice through the speakers.
