Musical and Poetic Soirée in the Derzhavin Estate Museum

About the Event

Return to the great era of salon culture in St. Petersburg, with this evening of music and poetry at the Derzhavin Estate. Margarita Alaverdian, vocal soloist from the famous Mariinsky Theater, pianist Ksenia Popova, and child poetry prodigy Nikol Plieva fill the evening with artistic pleasures.

Begin with a welcome drink and introduction to the fascinations of the Derzhavin Estate. The concert and poetic program follow, including six‐year‐old Nikol Plieva, who has already learned over 100 poems. This evening will feature recitation of the poetry of St. Petersburg poet Natalie Aver. The musical offerings include compositions by Tchaikovsky, Vivaldi, and Rachmaninoff, performed by chamber orchestra and soloists.
