About the Event
As part of the Pierre Boulez Saal's Quartet Festival, the Michelangelo String Quartet offers three vital works of the genre.
The program begins with the first of Beethoven's sixteen brilliant string quartets. The first contributions to the genre by Smetana and Bartók follow.
