Mendelssohn's 'Italian' Symphony and Beethoven's 'Emperor' Concerto

About the Event

This concert takes you on a journey from Beethoven in Vienna to Mendelssohn's sunny Rome and to the Utrecht villa in which Julius Röntgen composed his brief and tantalizing bitonal symphony in 1930. The Dutch Philharmonic Orchestra will be joined by Yevgeny Subdin under the baton of Ivor Bolton.
