Experience Mendelssohn's oratorio based on the biblical story of the prophet Elijah, performed by the Karl‐Forster‐Chor and the Kammersymphonie Berlin. Volker Hedtfeld conducts at the Konzerthaus Berlin.

Mendelssohn modeled his oratorio on the oratorios of his Baroque predecessors Händel and Bach, adding his own Romantic lyricism and genius.
