With the Choir of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia to provide the vocal part of the immediately‐recognisable Fourth Movement — a section Liszt found impossible to reproduce faithfully on the keyboard alone — Baglini embarks on one of the most complex and demanding works ever transcribed for the piano.
