About the Event

Enjoy festive brass music spanning four centuries with Ludwig Güttler (trumpet) and his brass ensemble in Essen.

He can hardly count the number of his awards: record prizes, the Adenauer Prize, the Teleman and the Händel Prize, and the Queen awarded him the Order 'Officer of the Order of the British Empire' in Great Britain. As co‐founder and driving force behind the reconstruction of the Frauenkirche in Dresden, he has already set a lasting monument. Ludwig Güttler is without a doubt the most popular German trumpetist of all time.

Güttler performs with his brass ensemble composed of musicians from the Gewandhaus Orchestra and the Staatskapelle Dresden.
