Les Grandes Voix: Théâtre des Champs‐Elysées
About the Event
Here is a couple whose youth and talent should work wonders in the Mozart‐Rossini program they have chosen. She, Lea Desandre, equally at ease in both the classical and baroque operatic repertoire (notably her recent Médée by Charpentier at the Paris Opera and her various appearances in Aix), has quickly established herself as one of the most promising voices of her generation. Huw Montague Rendall, a young baritone in his thirties, shows rare maturity in all the roles he tackles. His clear, velvety voice, his range of nuances, and his luminous high notes make him a performer of the highest caliber.
