American star violinist Hilary Hahn performs Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto with the Orchestre National de Lyon under the baton of award‐winning conductor Leonard Slatkin.

The evening begins with John Adams' 'Chairman Dances', the composer's imagined foxtrot danced by Chinese dictator Mao Tse‐Tung. Berlioz' monumental Symphonie Fantastique closes the program.
