Legend of Kazimierz — Klezmer‐Festival
About the Event
Four of Europe's most talented klezmer musicians are coming from Krakow to give their klezmer festival debut concert in Berlin in November: David Czernik, Jacek Dlugosz, Mateusz Dudek, and their leader Mateusz Frankiewicz combine their many years of musical experience and different backgrounds to create what is known as roots music. They enrich their rousing pieces with elements of Jewish music, Balkan melodies and, above all, a lot of temperament, getting every audience up and dancing. Since 2013, the band has worked with renowned musicians and composers such as Nigel Kennedy, Hans Zimmer and Michac Urbaniak.
