About the Event
Experience opera under the stars at one of the most beautiful locations in France. Opéra en Plein Air presents Verdi's "La Traviata" in a production staged by the iconic Arielle Dombasle.
Set in Paris of the 1850's, "La Traviata" is the tragic story of the ailing courtesan, Violetta, who finds sincere love, but abandons it to save her beloved nobleman, Alfredo from scandal. The opera includes some of Verdi's most well‐known and moving arias and duets.

Built in the 17th century and faithfully restored in 1992, the Château du Champ de Bataille is a stunning estate, with extensive gardens.

Gardens: from 2 pm, free entrance with your opera ticket
