Klarafestival: Nowruz
About the Event
Explore the breathtaking architecture of Brussels’s Palais des Beaux‐Arts and experience a sublime concert that will deepen your appreciation of classical music. For millennia, the Persian new year, Nowruz—meaning “the new day”—signals the start of spring. This auspicious day brings together millions from the Balkans to Central Asia, and the Middle East to the Black Sea shores, in a unified celebration of nature’s rebirth, marked by music and dance. The Klarafestival and Bozar commemorate this occasion with a concert where four ensembles and soloists each showcase the distinct musical heritage of their regions, spanning Iran to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan.
