Six years after their successful recording of Beethoven's Violin Concerto in D, star violinist Janine Jansen, conductor Paavo Järvi, and the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen take this program to the stage of the Concertgebouw. Beethoven is paired with Brahms' Symphony No. 1, the most transparent of his four symphonies.
