About the Event
Whether performing with the Metropole Orchestra or for Caribbean students, Izaline Calister is radiant. Her flexible jazz voice connects genres and mixes traditional influences from her native island Curaçao with jazz and Afro‐Caribbean music.
With her own trio (Ed Verhoeff and Angelo Verploegen), she perfoms Caribbean songs with a jazzy, swinging beat and a tropical touch.
