Huqin Quartet: Bravura Strings

About the Event

The Huqin Quartet proudly confirms that the age of the Eco‐huqin is here to stay. For this chamber concert, they have chosen Ran Shao Xi Wang (Burning Hopes), Latino Hopes, Of Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter etc. as a demonstration of the fine sounds of the modern huqin.

The success of the eco‐huqin series created by Yuen Shi‐chun, Research and Development Officer (Musical Instruments) of the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra, has been endorsed by experts in many parts of the world.

The HKCO’s Bravura Strings Huqin Quartet, made up of Zhang Chongxue, Han Jingna, Zhou Yi and He Wei, was founded as a practical example of how the eco‐huqin series can perform with consistently high standards and excellent timbre.
