Immerse yourself in the enchantment of flamenco at Passionskirche in Berlin‐Kreuzberg. Flamenco Vivo is not just a mere performance, but a vibrant experience. Originating in southern Spain, flamenco has captivated audiences worldwide over the past few decades.

Flamenco Vivo showcases an international ensemble of five renowned artists hailing from five different nations and three continents. The spotlight is on the spirited and expressive dance, complemented by virtuoso guitar playing and passionate singing. Flamenco is an ever‐evolving living art, with string instruments now frequently added to its music.

Flamenco Vivo mesmerizes the audience through the delicate interplay of dance (baile), guitar (toque), and singing (cante), enhanced by the beautiful timbres conjured by the viola. The ensemble, led by Cayetana de Ronda and Simone Abrantes in dance, is guided by Carmen Celada, who shares captivating stories about the art of flamenco. Azusa Krist on the viola and flamenco guitarist Georg Kempa complete this remarkable group.
