Based on Pushkin's immortal novel, Tchaikovsky created one of the most emotional opera scores ever, Eugene Onegin. Enjoy a production directed by Andrejs Žagars at the Latvian National Opera this season.

When the shy, introvert Tatyana first meets the aloof Onegin, she believes he is the man she always dreamed of. She pours out her love for him in a passionate letter. But he coldly rejects her. Many years later, they meet again. Both have changed, and now the tabeles are turned…
