About the Event
Sora Elisabeth Lee conducts the Orchestre Pasdeloup in a concert worthy of fireworks, including Ravel's famous Bolero.
Maxime Zecchini takes us to the United Kingdom with B. Britten's original concerto for the left hand, Diversions on a Theme. We return to France for excerpts from G. Bizet's suite from L'Arlésienne, then head to the United States with the contemporary piece This Moment by the brilliant composer A. Clyne. Virtuoso trumpeter Sergei Nakariakov amazes us with his flugelhorn transcription of Tchaikovsky's Variations on a Rococo Theme.
