Dinner & Concert: Ido Ramot — Chopin pur

About the Event

Explore the beauty of piano music at French Cathedral in Berlin, where masterworks from Chopin come to life in this incredible performance.

Frédéric Chopin has been celebrated as a master of Romanticism for 200 years. The composer himself loved to sit at the piano for hours and play to himself. A pianist with brilliant technique, he not only played the 88 keys, but “touched” them. We present the beautiful simplicity of his music with outstanding young pianists in the “Chopin pur” series at the French Cathedral.
The series concludes with Ido Ramot, who made his public debut with the Johannesburg Symphony Orchestra in 2003. Since then, the pianist has worked with orchestras in Israel and Italy. He also gives regular solo concerts in Israel, Germany, Spain, Italy, Scandinavia, and the USA. In Israel, he is known from radio and television and as the winner of numerous competitions. Ido has worked with great artists such as Vladimir Feltsman, Ilana Vered, Murray Perahia, Richard Goode, Susan Starr, Arie Vardi, and Sergei Babayan.
