Daniil Trifonov, piano: Aix Easter Festival 2013
About the Event
The public discovered him at the Chopin Competition in Warsaw in 2010, and Daniil Trifonov confirmed his importance in the Rubinstein Competition in Tel Aviv and the Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow in 2011.
Since then, the charismatic pianist has been invited by the world’s most prestigious orchestras. But he still continues to play solo concerts, such as this one, in which he performs Liszt’s incomparable monument of Romanticism, the Sonata in B minor, as well as Rachmaninoff's Variations on a Theme by Chopin.
The Aix‐en‐Provence Easter Festival is a new major classical music event, presenting established international artists as well as rising stars.
