Cuarteto SolTango embodies authentic tango with orchestral sound and chamber music esprit. With its unique instrumentation of violin, cello, bandoneon and piano, it combines the Argentine tango of the 'Golden Era' with the chamber music concert tradition.

The quartet interprets tangos by icons such as Aníbal Troilo, Juan D'Arienzo and Lucio Demare as well as pioneers of Tango Nuevo such as Horacio Salgán and Osvaldo Pugliese in artful arrangements by Martin Klett.

Since its formation in 2008, the quartet has performed regularly at major classical concert venues such as the Schleswig‐Holstein Music Festival and the Oberstdorfer Musiksommer.

In addition, Cuarteto SolTango has performed at numerous international festivals, including the innovative Grachtenfestival Amsterdam, Heidelberger Frühling and the studio concerts of Bayrischer Rundfunk.
