About the Event
Experience the spiritual and folk melodies of the Creole Mass in the majestic Oratoire du Louvre, in Paris.
In 1963, Argentinian composer Ariel Ramirez wrote a mass based on popular songs of South America. The Misa Criolla contains the usual five parts of the Catholic liturgy (Kyrie, Gloria, Credo, Sanctus, and Agnus Dei), however includes many instruments from the Andes' folk tradition.
