About the Event

A French atmosphere pervades this concert, featuring the Santa Cecilia Choir under the direction of Andrea Secchi, performing Gabriel Fauré’s renowned Requiem in an intimate chamber version, closer to the composer’s original vision. The softness of Fauré’s music is echoed in Nuages, a world premiere by Roman composer Matteo D’Amico, written specifically for our choir and inspired by the poetry of late 19th‐century France.
