The Concerto Italiano performs sacral works by Monteverdi, Melani, Scarlatti, and Stravinsky at the concert series "Voices: Renaissance and Baroque" in Brussels.

Voices : Renaissance and Baroque
Humanist Europe, Venice and its Mediterranean connections, and music in the paintings of Watteau: three of the key themes of this season at the Centre are well represented in this series. There is sacred music under the guidance of William Christie, while the rising star of baroque music, Leonardo García Alarcón, juggles with different styles in two concerts of great imagination, creativity, and emotion.
