The nation has spoken – and once again, Classic FM’s annual poll has revealed Britain’s favourite pieces of classical music.
The programme includes Vaughan Williams' The Lark Ascending, performed by BBC Young Musician of the Year 2002 Jennifer Pike. The concert also includes classics by Holst, Mussorgsky and Elgar, conducted by Stephen Bell, described by International Record Review as 'one of the most gifted younger British conductors'.
