About the Event
The meeting of cellist Jan Vogler and the high‐carat American Brentano String Quartet is a high‐carat musical liaison.
Apart from Franz Schubert’s unique String Quintet, which was only published posthumously, the programme features Beethoven’s Op. 135, his last quartet. In it, the composer offers not only an artful summary of the genre up to this point, but also set the words »Muss es sein?« (Must it be?) to music, with a wink.
