Brahms & Mozart Chamber Music: Summer Concerts at Concertgebouw
About the Event
Take in chamber music by Mozart, Schumann, and Brahms in the famous acoustics of Amsterdam's Concertgebouw. Violist Amihai Grosz performs with pianist Eric Le Sage and clarinettist Paul Meyer.
Brahms discovered the beauty of the clarinet relatively late in his life. He expressed his love for the instrument in two clarinet sonatas, which he also arranged for viola. This program features one of each. The evening opens with Schumann's "Fairy Tales" and closes with Mozart's "Kegelstatt Trio".
